George (Chip) A. McDavid is a Roofing Contractor. He started our company with little more than the shirt on his back or should we say “a hatchet in his pouch” in 1977. Chip is past president of the North Central Florida Roofing (FRSA) and Sheet Metal Association and a past Board of Director for the Florida Roofing and Sheet Metal Contractors Association. The respect he shows to all and the mandated high quality of workmanship from his employees has made him a legend in his own right.
Donna B. McDavid is our In-House Contractor. She started working at McDavid Roofing in 1979. Donna takes pride in her work allowing McDavid Roofing to exceed in quality workmanship and excel in customer service. She is also a past president of the North Central Florida Roofing and Sheet Metal Contractors Association. Donna is a licensed roofing contractor with the State of Florida. She is available for consultation at our Gainesville Office.
Albert “Blake” McDavid is our President and a Certifed Roofing Contractor with the state of Florida. He is our Lead Roofing Mechanic and Carpenter. Blake is a second generation of McDavid Roofers. He is a former collegiate baseball pitcher and has been employed with McDavid Roofing Inc since returning back to Gainesville.

Christie M. McDavid is our Secretary and Treasurer and can be reached at our Gainesville office. Christie is a graduate with a Business Management Degree with Saint Leo University and a former collegiate softball pitcher. Most importantly she is the wife of Blake McDavid and the mother of our third generation, Albert “Jackson” and Kylie

McDavid Roofing Inc dedicates our success in part to Donald Edward Brown, Operations Manager from 1982 to 1998. Don was a former football player and football coach for the University of Florida who brought a strong work ethic to those who worked under him. His wife, Katherine Brown, worked in our office for 15 years prior to her retirement. Both are greatly missed and we will be forever grateful for the contributions and sacrifices they made in the name of McDavid Roofing Inc.
